Description

Coorg - Madikeri is a hill town in southern India. Framed by the Western Ghats mountain range, it’s known for the Raja’s Seat, a simple monument overlooking forests and rice paddies. In the center, the 17th-century Madikeri Fort features 2 stone elephants at the entrance. Nearby, the domed Omkareshwar Temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva. To the northwest, cascading Abbey Falls is surrounded by spice plantations.

Wayanad is a rural district in Kerala state, southwest India. In the east, the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a lush, forested region with areas of high altitude, home to animals including Asiatic elephants, tigers, leopards and egrets. In the Ambukuthi Hills to the south, Edakkal Caves contain ancient petroglyphs, some dating back to the Neolithic age.

Ooty (short for Udhagamandalam) is a resort town in the Western Ghats mountains, in southern India's Tamil Nadu state. Founded as a British Raj summer resort, it retains a working steam railway line. Other reminders of its colonial past include Stone House, a 19th-century residence, and the circa-1829 St. Stephen’s Church. Its 55-acre Government Botanical Garden lies on the slopes of Doddabetta Peak.

Day 1 Arrive Mysore - Coorg (130 Kms / 02 Hrs)

Arrive at Mysore Bus / Railway Station and drive to Coorg - the "scotland of Karnataka" Nestled in the Western. En route Madikeri, Visit Bylukuppe Tibettian Settlement (golden Temple), Largest Tibetan Settlement Holds a Several Monasteries and Temples of all Major Vajrayana (indo-tibetan Buddhist) Lineages and Then Proceed to Kaveri Nisargadhama, a Wonderful Picnic Spot Situated On the Banks of River Kaveri. Upon Arrival Madikeri, Check into the Hotel. Evening Visit to Omkareshwara Temple - a Temple Having Both Islamic and Gothic Style of Architecture and Raja Seat - a Seasonal Garden of Flowers and Artificial Fountains. Later back to hotel & Overnight stay.

Day 2 Coorg Sightseeing

Morning breakfast and proceed for the sightseeing for full day covering Talacauveri - located in the picturesque location of Brahmagiri hills. Talacauvery is the origin of River Kaveri, a beautiful Talacauvery Temple built around it, and then visit to Bhagamandala. Bhagamandala is famous for the confluence of the three sacred rivers, Kaveri, Sujyothi and Kanike. Visit to the temple dedicated to Bhagandeshwara (Lord Shiva). Return to the hotel for the lunch. Post lunch drive to visit Abbey Falls, One of the Picturesque Waterfalls of Karnataka Situated Amidst Beautiful Coffee Estate. Evening visit Dubare Elephant Camp, a forest camp on the banks of the River Kaveri where bathing and feeding the elephants are done. Dubare elephant camp in Coorg is the perfect destination to enjoy Elephant rides, bird watching and adventurous trekking. Later back to hotel & Overnight stay.

Day 3 Coorg - Wayanad

After morning breakfast, proceed to Wayanad depart to witness the magnificent beauty of Wayanad.Head towards, Banasura dam the largest earth dam in India, constructed in the Banasura lake in Kalpetta, one can indulge in speed boating, and horse riding at your own cost.Also visit Karalad Lake and Banasura Mala Waterfalls which are nearby. Visit Karlad Adventure Camp for water activities, verdant green landscapes, misty mountains, romantic waterfalls, scores of folk art forms and so much more also indulge in Ziplining, Kayaking, climbing on rock panels, paintball, archery, and land zorbing here at your own cost.After an adventurous day, proceed towards your hotel and then enjoy your delicious dinner. stay at Wayanad

Day 4 Wayanad

Wake up with a magnificent view and a delicious breakfast from the hotel and proceed with the sightseeing tour of Wayanad. Head towards Kanthanpara waterfalls, It is the only waterfall open to the public in the vicinity of Kalpetta.head towards Wayanad Tea Museum and get to know about antique exhibits that provide information on the history of tea production in Wayanad.You can also taste the flavor of different kinds of tea at the tea bar here and visit Edakkal Cave the most famous cave in Wayanad. Day 5 Wayanad - Ooty

After breakfast drive to Ooty. En route visit Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, Pykara Lake & Falls, 6th Mile & 9th Mile Cine Shooting Points. Check into the hotel & overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 6 Ooty - Coimbatore Drop

After breakfast visit Centenary Rose Garden, Lake (Boathouse), Dodabetta Peak, Tea Factory, Botanical Garden. Afternoon drive to Coimbatore. En route visit Coonoor. Visit MRC Military Camp (Outside View), Dolphin's Nose, Lamb's Rock, Tea Gardens and Sims Park. Later drop at Coimbatore.
